The CMU Cellular Phone Program is available to students, staff, faculty and alumni of Central Michigan University.  CMU Cellular Program is an authorized reseller of Alltel, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and Nextel.  Users who take advantage of CMU Cellular Phone Program enjoy benefits such as:

Discounted Rates and Equipment:  Through the CMU Cellular Phone Program, students, staff, faculty and alumni are eligible for an average monthly discount of 10% on many voice and data rate plans, in addition to up to 25% off on phones and equipment.

No Service or Activation Fees

On-Campus Billing and Support:  First level user support is available on-campus through the Telecommunications Service Center, as well as user billing statements and call details.  Your CMU Cellular Service is billed to your CMU account.

Full Service Provider:  As a full-service cellular provider, you will have access to a wide range of service plans offered by Alltel, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and Nextel.

Quality Coverage:  Users of any of our cellular services will find coverage in most areas of Michigan and the United States.

Cell Phone Providers Offered through CMU:

o   Alltel (10% off specific rate plans / One year contract):

Plans include voicemail, caller ID, unlimited nights and weekends starting at 9pm, unlimited Alltel to Alltel, and nationwide coverage.   Check your minutes by dialing #668 from your Alltel phone.  The Alltel billing cycle begins on the 22^nd of each month and ends on the 21^st of the following month.
