Faculty and staff members may check out a copy of Mac OS X from Media Services (phone 774-3891).

Obtaining Apple Software
The current licensing terms specify that CMU can only distribute software that is explicitly licensed -- in other words, unless you have licenses for prior versions of the Mac OS (prior to 10.5), you cannot distribute that software. The AMP agreement provides licensing only for the current OS. Note: Go to Media Services, not the Help Desk, to obtain this Macintosh software. Contact the Help Desk (phone 774-3662) if you have any technical questions or need additional information.
